Job Title: Tig Welder Location: Sparks, 89431 Pay: $20- $24/hr DOE Shift: Mon- Thurs. 6AM- 4:30PM Fri. OT as needed POSITION OVERVIEW- Key responsibilities include, setting up machinery, ensuring precise joint fitment, and maintaining safety DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Precision Welding: Utilizing TIG welding techniques to join thin materials or complex components, often for high-strength or pressure-sensitive applications. Equipment Setup: Configuring welding equipment, including setting amperage, gas, and selecting tungsten electrodes. Quality Control: Inspecting finished welds to ensure compliance with quality standardsand specifications. Fabrication & Finishing: Grinding, polishing, and preparing metal parts before and after welding. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) EDUCATION & TRAINING- High School diploma or equivalent required. Essential Skills and Qualifications Technical Skill: Strong proficiency withWelding tools. Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination to manage the torch, filler rod, and foot pedal simultaneously. Experience: Previous experience with metal fabrication, particularly with stainless steel and aluminum. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). SKILLS & ABILITIES- Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks Ability to Stand 10 Hours/Day Ability to sit stand and bend lifting of up to 75lbs occasionally.
