Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, processing standard shipping paperwork, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This role supports assembly with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials, while also ensuring the proper disposal of packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret truck forklift and sit-down forklift to move and pick orders.
• Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment.
• Unload and load trucks daily, managing 3-4 incoming and 2 outgoing trucks per shift.
• Support the assembly department with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials.
• Update storage bin information using SAP and locate materials.
• Dispose of wood, plastic, metal, and other packaging materials following standard procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
• Comfortable working at heights using narrow aisle forklifts.
• Ability to handle material handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution tasks.
• Proficiency in using SAP for inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
• Experience with bill of ladings and inventory management.
• Familiarity with rf scanners and ups worldship.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.48 - $21.42/hr.
