Chipton-Ross is seeking a Administrative Generalist 1 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years additional education and/or relevant experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The position will support the onboarding process of bringing new candidates into NNS.

• Onboarding Employees; processing and/or approving new hires and internal transfers.

• Processing and reviewing background investigation reports; Sending and requesting information to internal and external customers; Coordinating appointment and start dates.

• Performs a variety of general personnel/clerical tasks in such areas as employee records, employment eligibility, travel coordination, and equal employment opportunity.

• Maintains both manual and electronic personnel records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential personnel data and prepares reports. In accordance with compliance and procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies.

• Provides information to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

5/40 work week. Monday - Friday, First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM
