Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Location: Surgical Services | Anesthesia
2nd and 3rd Floor of the Taylor Regional Surgical Center

Schedule: Full-time positions
Two Full-Time Opportunities Available!



Position 1 - Full-Time | No Call
Full-time schedule
No call responsibilities
Flexible practice and scheduling



Position 2 - Full-Time | Call Rotation
1:7 call rotation
Approximately 4-5 call shifts per month
6-8 weekends of call per year
One holiday of call coverage per year
Opportunities to pick up additional call shifts

Our anesthesia services support a variety of specialties, including:


•General Surgery
•Urology
•Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
•Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
•Orthopedics
•Ophthalmology
•Endoscopy
•Pediatric Dental


Our Facilities Include:


5 Operating Suites
2 Endoscopy Suites
1 Urological Suite


Day-to-Day Responsibilities


• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, including reviewing medical histories, evaluating patient conditions, and identifying anesthesia-related risks.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs, surgical procedures, and established clinical standards.
• Administer and manage general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care within the CRNA's authorized scope of practice and hospital privileges.
• Continuously monitor patients throughout anesthesia administration, recognizing and responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Manage airways, ventilation, hemodynamic stability, and other critical physiological functions during anesthesia care.
• Provide post-anesthesia assessment and care, including pain management and monitoring for potential complications.
• Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies and assist with resuscitation and other critical interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing personnel, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses.
• Adhere to established infection prevention practices, patient safety standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.


Education and Experience:


➤ Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license and completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
➤Certification: Current CRNA certification required.
➤Experience: 1-2+ years of experience preferred.

BLS required through American Heart Association- renewals are included with TRH employment.
