Job Description: - Position: Physical Therapist (PT) - Location: Ashland, KY - Shift: Day shift - Target Start Date: ASAP - Number of Openings: 2 - Patient Population: Adults - Facility Department/Cost Center: R491J Key Responsibilities: - Assess and implement individualized patient care plans. - Provide high-quality physical therapy treatment within a hospital setting. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. - Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices. Qualifications: - Experience: 1-2 years of hospital experience required; acute rehab experience preferred. - Skills: Familiarity with common diagnoses such as neuro, ortho, and debility. Work Environment: - Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 - Unit: Upcoming new unit awaiting state approval - Supervisor: Jennifer Beddow ADO (until PD is in place) - Dress Code: TBD (No graphic t-shirts) Additional Information: - Weekend rotation preferred (Saturday). - Floating to med/surg available if needed.
