Exciting Opportunity for Cath Lab RN!

Job Description:


- Shift Details:
- Schedule: 4/10-hour shifts weekly + call
- Hours: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- No self-scheduling; leadership assigns shifts


- Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and monitor cases in the Cath Lab
- Perform procedural sedation; sedation testing required prior to arrival
- Preferred scrubbing by Techs, but experience in scrubbing is a plus

- Case Mix:
- Work with a variety of diagnoses: STEMI, Structural Heart (Mitraclip, TAVR, Watchman), PFO, ASD, PCI, IABP insertion, Impella-assisted PCI or implantation, ECMO cannulation, etc.
- Average 8-10 cases per day

- Requirements:
- WA License or Compact License required
- Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Cath Lab preferred
- Experience with Structural Heart cases essential
- Travel experience highly preferred but not required
- Familiarity with EMR/Equipment: MacLab, Epic

- On-Call Information:
- On-call for overnights, holidays, and weekends
- Approx. 1 weeknight call weekly
- Approx. 1-2 weekends call per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)
- Call response time: 30 minutes

- Additional Information:
- Floating requirements: Currently no floating outside Cath Lab unless arranged
- Scrub color/dress code: Hospital pre-op/procedural scrubs provided daily
- Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 week, including 3 days on-unit and weekend Buddy Call
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract duration: 91 weeks
