Pay Rate $25 - $31/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, instrument preparation, sterilization, and quality control in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• CRCST, CIS, or equivalent Sterile Processing Technician certification.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on sterile processing experience.

• Proficiency in decontamination, instrument assembly, and sterilization procedures.

• Knowledge of surgical instruments, steam sterilization, infection control, ANSI/AAMI standards, and manufacturer IFUs.

• Experience operating washer disinfectors, autoclaves, and related processing equipment.

• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to follow detailed SOPs and Work Instructions.

• Basic computer and electronic data system proficiency.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional, reliable, collaborative, and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate used surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate PPE and established protocols.

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble complex surgical instruments.

• Assemble and package instrument trays and sets according to established guidelines.

• Operate washers, sterilizers, autoclaves, and other sterile processing equipment safely and effectively.

• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage before packaging.

• Document missing, damaged, or defective instruments according to SOPs.

• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and processing activities.
