Property Manager - Contract Position About the Opportunity A well-established real estate investment and development organization is seeking a Property Manager to oversee operations, financial performance, tenant relations, and team leadership for a premier mixed-use commercial asset. What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development Lead and mentor a team of property management professionals Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture Conduct regular team meetings and performance coaching Partner closely with leasing, accounting, construction, marketing, legal, and facilities teams Coordinate staffing coverage, scheduling, and operational support Property Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of a premier commercial property Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and maintenance programs Ensure assets are maintained in first-class condition Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to support building systems and preventative maintenance initiatives Support emergency preparedness planning and operational compliance efforts Conduct regular property inspections and recommend capital improvements Financial Management Develop and manage annual operating budgets and capital plans Monitor revenue, expenses, financial performance, and variance reporting Oversee accounts receivable and tenant collections Review monthly financial statements and operating reportsManage annual CAM budgets, reconciliations, and tenant recoveries Approve invoices and monitor vendor expenditures Provide strategic recommendations to improve asset performance Tenant & Client Relations Build strong relationships with tenants and serve as a primary point of contact Support lease administration, rent adjustments, and compliance matters Assist with tenant renewals, expansions, relocations, and occupancy planning Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and tenant improvement projects Partner with ownership and asset management teams to ensure a best-in-class tenant experience Capital Projects & Improvements Collaborate with construction and development teams on tenant and building improvement projects Monitor project timelines, budgets, and completion schedules Support space planning, build-outs, and occupancy readiness initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred CPM, RPA, or similar professional designation preferred or in progress 5+ years of commercial property management experience Experience managing retail, mixed-use, office, or high-profile commercial assets Strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, CAM reconciliations, and lease administration Proven leadership and team management experience Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with property management, financial, and reporting systems Why Consider This Opportunity?
