Your Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and devising customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and chronic illness management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and long-term care management

• Accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within three months)
