Clinical Research Coordinator II

Job Description The Clinical Research Coordinator II coordinates and implements vital clinical and non-clinical tasks related to the successful completion of multiple research protocols consistent with knowledge and experience. A successful coordinator should be able to function independently with direction from the Principal Investigator and other research leadership staff. The position may be extramurally funded, so continued employment is largely dependent on the availability of funds in addition to satisfactory performance. Education Associates Degree required or equivalent technical certification (e.g., EMT, EKG Technician, Medical Assistant). Bachelor degree preferred. Experience At least two years of experience coordinating research protocols independently and appropriate relevant medical experience. Two to four years of experience in either GI or Ophthalmology Research Study Coordination is strongly preferred.
