Ideal candidates should have previous Assistant Manager or long-term Shift Leader experience. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Department Managersalso lead a department. Responsibilities may include managing assigned systems,setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, motivating their teams, followingup on assigned tasks, creating action plans to improve results and trainingother restaurant employees. There are 3 Department Managers in each restaurant.The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities includebut are not limited to: Ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customerexperience, LTOs are executed at a high level, service staff are trained inservice procedures, community involvement initiatives are executed effectively,cleanliness of assigned area and planned maintenance of assigned equipment.The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities include butare not limited to: Ensuring the restaurant delivers great quality food to ourguests in a quick manner, food safety, managing food cost, completing inventorycounts, completing truck orders, training of kitchen staff, cleanliness ofassigned area and planned maintenance of assigned equipment.The People Department Manager’s responsibilities include butare not limited to: Interviewing, Hiring, Onboarding, Retention, Scheduling, CrewTraining, Manager Training, Monthly FUN calendar execution, positive culture inthe restaurant, cleanliness of assigned area and planned maintenance of assignedequipment.Previous managerial experience is required, ideally within arestaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive teamplayers with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to workin the famously fast paced McDonald’s environment.
