Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us.Make Your Mark at Prysmian Group - Join UsBrief Summary of Primary Duties:Communicate and administer Prysmian Group policies and procedures.Ensure a safe work environment at all times.Troubleshoot process and equipment issues.Coordinate between different groups such as logistics and maintenance.Resolve conflicts on the shop floor.Perform necessary clerical activities such as time or record keeping.Drive quality and cost saving initiatives.Guide, mentor, and lead shop floor associates.Expectations:Lead by example.Abide by all rules and procedures.Treat all employees with respect and consistency.Maintain a clean work environment.Make safety first priority.Meet or exceed cost saving or quality goals set for the process area.Specific Skills/Training Required:Computer skills & ability that allow them to enter data, use email, and basic office programs.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to use written work instructions to complete task.Ability to use measuring equipment –including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers.Hazardous Waste Training.First Responders Training.Education:High School/GED Diploma - required.Associate's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.Experience:3-5 years manufacturing experience required.1-3 years supervisory experience required.Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and manufacturing systems.Experience utilizing production data, KPIs, reporting tools, and operational metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.Lean manufacturing exposure preferred.Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas.Hearing Protection required in posted areas.Ability to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors.Prysmian will grant reasonable accommodations for any disability.
