P&C Actuarial Internship In Chicago
Broad P&C student internship closer to a structured student development role than a modelling-heavy internship because the exposure spans several actuarial functions and products.
P&C actuarial internship in Chicago supporting Product & Actuarial Analysis. You will work across non-standard auto, commercial auto, and general liability on product development, rating comparisons, reserve reviews, regulatory filings, and financial reporting.
Requirements
Must have:
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Strongly preferred:
- Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Willingness to work part-time during the school year
Nice to have:
- SOA/CAS exams are a plus
