Apheresis Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Apheresis Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary expertise in plasma exchange and red blood cell exchange, along with proficiency in using specialized apheresis equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform plasma exchange and red blood cell exchange procedures.
- Utilize apheresis equipment and ensure proper maintenance and operation.
- Manage central lines, ports, and other related equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in apheresis, dialysis, or related fields.
- Valid BCLS certification required.
- Experience with GVHD, BO, CTCL, and Photopheresis is preferred.
- Ability to respond to rotating call obligations.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of apheresis procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage staffing ratios effectively, maintaining a 1:1 patient care standard.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
