Shift: 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <35 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: TTE complete with color and doppler. Ultrasound enhancement agents (UEA – Definity/Optison). Advanced imaging in accordance with ASE/IAC Echo including, but not limited to: LV Global Strain, 3D, HOCM, agitated saline contrast studies.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Stress echo and Dobutamine Stress echo studies.

Unit Details: Cardiac diagnostics including TTE, TEE, stress echo, and Dobutamine Stress echo studies; chemotherapy evaluations; transplant evaluations. Uses Philips and GE echo systems, CASE stress equipment, and Philips ISCV reporting. Fast-paced academic lab with a balance between portable and in-lab studies. Parking is assigned and free.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch. Weekend rotation depends on unit needs. Holiday requirements depend on unit needs. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floating to satellite sites managed within Wake Region.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
