Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath LAB

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required. Circulating and monitoring experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Structural heart experience highly preferred. EP experience highly preferred. Scrubbing experience preferred. Trauma Level I experience preferred.

Special Requests: Cannot promise block scheduling. Past UPH FTEs or UPH float pool PRNs who currently work at or have worked at a UPH facility within the last 12 months are not eligible to work travel in another market. This separation policy does not apply to prior UPH travel staff.

Unit Details: Precept as needed.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday with a random day off during the week. Holiday rotation. On-call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend: 7:30p Friday through 7a Monday.

Floating Requirements: Required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units as needed; campuses are minutes from one another.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
