RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Speech Therapist (SLP) , your primary responsibility is the improvement of resident functionality through therapy.
• Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient's function
• Administer speech therapy program utilization specialized therapeutic technique and / or equipment
• Recommend communication devices / aids as indicated
• Confer with referring physician and other organizational personnel to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
• Prepare and submit notes per organization policy
• Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practice and theory

REQUIREMENTS:

• Speech-language pathologist license, in good standing with the state
• 1 year clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CPR Certification
