Senior Enterprise Imaging Consultant

Role Description

The Senior Enterprise Imaging Consultant will apply best practice and subject matter expertise to support enterprise imaging consulting projects. This individual will perform analyses of customer Radiology and/or Cardiology workflow, compile data, interpret results and make recommendations to optimize customer’s enterprise imaging workflows. The Analyst will extract or process internal or external data to support client projects through application of internal tools and leverage other internal subject matter experts to provide exceptional customer service to our consulting and staffing customers.

The individual is engaged in utilizing their specialized knowledge of Enterprise Imaging product infrastructure and technology as well as industry standard technical training. They will investigate and diagnose customer complaints and service requests as they arise and as assigned. Enterprise Imaging Consultants are expected to ensure that all documentation is in alignment with regulatory standards and requirements in addition to providing root cause analysis when needed for any disruptions in workflow.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform Change Healthcare PACS activities, Workflow Intelligence support for on demand service in application, including but not limited to, system testing and resolution, date reconciliation at facility sites and/or remotely.
• Identify hardware, network and architecture challenges and provide recommendations to Customer regarding changes to the system structure.
• Identify and recommend changes in workflow, application configuration, system structure, technical performance and/or policies to support the information system needs of the Customer.
• Serve as the primary resource for hands-on Change Healthcare PACS suite of applications to aid in clinical and technical activities/issues/requests.
• Consult with Customer and recommend and maintain standardization of workflows and procedures.
• Provide guidance to the Customer in the development of best practices that enhance or complement utilization of the PACS and expeditious exam reporting.
• Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert to coordinate integration of Change Healthcare PACS, Workflow Intelligence, support for on demand service in application, and to third party systems.
• Provide guidance to Customer in the development of technical processes or procedures that complement the utilization of Change Healthcare PACS suite of applications.
• Attend Customer department, program, and project meetings where the Resource’s active participation is essential to the meeting.
• Resources should be available remotely and/or willing to travel to customer locations across North America specifically all boroughs of New York City.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting clinical imaging workflows, including HL7 and DICOM standards.
• 5+ years of experience administering, supporting, and troubleshooting Change Healthcare Radiology PACS and/or Cardiology PACS environments as a PACS administrator.
• 5+ years of experience diagnosing and resolving PACS software, workflow, integration, and end-user support issues.
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• 5+ years of experience supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-level hardware, software, and imaging systems in a healthcare environment.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production systems with responsibilities for incident resolution, system maintenance, upgrades, and user support.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders to resolve system and workflow issues.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, or support requests in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Imaging Informatics Professional ABII(CIIP).
• Registered Diagnostic Imaging Technologist R.T.(R)(ARRT).
• CompTIA Security+.
• Experience supporting enterprise imaging platforms across multiple facilities, hospitals, or healthcare systems.
• Experience with PACS migrations, upgrades, implementations, or workflow optimization initiatives.
• Experience analyzing system performance, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience developing user documentation, training materials, and operational procedures related to imaging systems.
• Knowledge of imaging integrations, interfaces, and interoperability standards within healthcare environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL.

Salary Information

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
