EJA Trucking Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform truck and trailer repairs at our yard in Granite City, Illinois. Responsibilities Perform light truck and trailer repairs Repair trailer patches, doors, hinges, latches, and hardware Complete tire changes and replacements Use computer diagnostics to identify engine, ABS, emissions, and electrical issues Perform DOT inspections and necessary repairs Repair and replace lights, brakes, mud flaps, and other safety equipment Keep trucks and trailers DOT-compliant, safe, and road-ready Work independently to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently Perks Steady, long-term work Consistent work at our Granite City yard Opportunity to work independently Stable position with an established trucking company Qualified candidates should have diesel and/or trailer mechanic experience, knowledge of DOT regulations and inspections, experience using diagnostic software and scan tools, and a valid driver's license.
