Health Aide

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. Bonnie Cone Classical Academy is currently accepting applications for a Health Aide . Preferably a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA), or Registered Nurse (RN).


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide basic first aid and care for students with minor injuries or illnesses; assess and respond to health-related emergencies as needed.
• Assist in monitoring and documenting students' health status, including vital signs and medical histories, and maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies.
• Administer medications to students according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate documentation of medication distribution.
• Work closely with the school nurse to implement health programs, manage health screenings, and address any health concerns affecting students.
• Promote health education and awareness among students, staff, and parents by providing information on health and wellness topics.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized health office, including restocking supplies and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff regarding health issues, concerns, and resources available for support.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass applicable background check
• Submit fingerprints through NCSBI
