Job Details Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: Logan, WV Setting: School Pay Rate: Up to $28.00 / hour Schedule: Part-Time (2.5 days/week) Contract Length: 2026-2027 School Year Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly Preferred: School-based or pediatric experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply! Requirements: Valid West Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license required. Responsibilities Provide direct physical therapy treatments and interventions to students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist students with gross motor skill development, mobility, balance, and spatial awareness within the school environment. Implement treatment plans and assist with accommodations as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with supervising PTs, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to support student functional mobility and safety. Maintain clear, compliant documentation of treatment sessions and track student progress in accordance with district guidelines.
