License: Valid ARRT-CT

Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT

Must-Have: General CT experience from a hospital setting

Experience with the following patient types: Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, and pediatrics (experience not required for pediatrics)

Experience with GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo preferred)

Scanners available: 5

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome.

Patient types include general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head.

Procedures may include biopsies and drains.

Patient ratios are typically 1:1.

Support on the unit will include other CT techs, radiology RNs, RRTs, and the Code Blue team.

The charting system used is EPIC.

No floating to other units is required.

The scheduling includes no weekend rotation and no on-call duties.

Holiday expectations include working 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday.

Approval of time off is not applicable.

All staff, including travelers, must adhere to a fatigue policy, limiting hours to no more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.

Scrub colors allowed are any, except for camo or denim.
