Solution Architect

Long-term project (likely up to 3 years). Targeting start date end of August/early September, he is not in a rush to fill this yet. Local is preference, if they are not local they will need to travel in for planning/workshops/special meetings probably monthly.

This will be a solutions architect-type role. This person will not be hands-on technically. It’s a secret project for now so they aren’t allowed to talk about much. 1-3 year program that they will be supporting from an Architecture perspective. As they bring in partners/vendors, this person will be helping to integrate that with Southwest systems.

Must have:

• Airlines experience or Travel Agency experience, this is going to take preference over the technical requirements, should be an Airline SME
• Architect-level experience (no preference on technical background)

Nice to have:

• System integration experience
• Cloud (AWS is preferred)
