RN Unit Manager

Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando Location: Orlando, Florida Schedule: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Salary: $77,000 - $90,000 annually Join Our Team At Rehabilitation Center of Orlando, we are committed to providing exceptional care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team, ensure clinical excellence, and positively impact the lives of our residents every day. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to maintain high-quality resident care and efficient staffing practices. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture. Manage staffing schedules and workflow to ensure appropriate unit coverage. Conduct staff training, competency evaluations, and performance coaching. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, including MDS-related processes. Utilize PCC knowledge to support quality resident care and documentation practices. Assist with resident and family concerns, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care coordination. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and represent nursing leadership throughout the facility. Qualifications Active Florida RN license in good standing. Minimum of two (2) years of long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience with PCC (PointClickCare) preferred. Commitment to delivering resident-centered care and promoting positive clinical outcomes.
