Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, positive behavior support strategies, and risk assessments as needed. Timely and accurately complete all required documentation according to regulatory standards to ensure compliance and maintain quality service delivery. Utilize evidence-based screening tools to facilitate client evaluations and inform treatment decisions collaboratively with clinical teams. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and external programs to design and implement effective behavior support plans for clients. Participate in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating commitment to maintaining high standards of practice. Act as a liaison with relevant state agencies and community partners, advocating for client needs and securing necessary resources. Foster effective communication within the organization and with the community to uphold contract standards and further our mission. Engage in professional growth activities such as attending conferences and representing the agency in statewide task forces and meetings. Promote and enact the agency’s values, philosophy, and principles in daily practice. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to a dynamic and responsive service environment. Patient Population / Client Focus The LMHC will serve a diverse population, including individuals recovering from substance use disorders, those with mental health challenges, and clients with developmental disabilities. You will play an instrumental role in helping these individuals regain control over their lives, fostering their journey towards independence and stability in the community. Your compassionate approach and clinical expertise will directly impact the wellness and recovery of your clients. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is essential. A valid and independent LMHC license is required, demonstrating your qualifications for clinical practice. Proficient in maintaining accurate clinical records and preparing detailed reports is necessary to meet regulatory expectations. Exhibit teamwork abilities, collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary settings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey thoughts and options effectively to clients and team members. Preferred Experience Experience working in community health settings or similar environments is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this role ranges between $80,000 and $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
