Details 8-week travel assignment in a community hospital ICU setting 10-bed ICU unit Patient population includes critically ill adults presenting with medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis Unit also manages acute stroke patients as part of a certified Primary Stroke Center with telestroke/tele-neurology services Some pediatric critical care cases may be encountered (stabilization and early illness management) Intensivists and hospitalists are on staff, with specialty services including cardiac and surgery 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Every third weekend required Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required; MA RN license required if applicable Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required At least one completed travel assignment required; more than one preferred Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position All previous employees (travel, permanent, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility must have a minimum 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility COVID vaccine and booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season American Traveler Job ID #P-713600.
