Community Housing Partners Corporation is seeking a Leasing Consultant II to join their team at their brand‑new Witter Place property just outside Washington DC in Alexandria, VA . If you have 2+ years of successful leasing experience and experience working with property management software , CHP wants to hear from you! Experience with new construction or lease‑up communities is preferred but not required. Predictable schedule : Typically, Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm with a rotating on‑call schedule. No constant nights or weekends! Requirements: Has 2+ years of successful leasing experience, preferably including new construction or lease‑up communities Has a proven ability to market apartments and achieve aggressive occupancy goals Is outgoing, energetic, and confident closing leases Enjoys networking, community outreach, and relationship building Understands affordable housing programs or is eager to learn Has experience with Yardi, RentCafe, or similar property management software Is highly organized and thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment Essential duties/responsibilities: As a key member of our lease‑up team, you’ll help establish a vibrant new community by: Driving leasing activity from first inquiry through move‑in Developing and executing local marketing and outreach strategies to generate qualified traffic Conducting engaging apartment tours and closing leases Building relationships with local employers, businesses, and community organizations to increase visibility Managing social media, resident referrals, outreach events, and marketing initiatives Maintaining audit‑ready files and completing affordable housing certifications and recertifications Partnering with maintenance and property management to ensure homes are move‑in ready Delivering exceptional customer service that creates lasting resident relationships About: From our roots as a volunteer organization serving housing needs in Appalachia, CHP has grown into a multi‑state organization nationally recognized for our capabilities and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
