The individual in this role will engage in the assembly of medical devices, including IPG and pacemakers, sub-assemblies, and full catheter builds within a clean room setting. Responsibilities will encompass reading work instructions, reviewing drawings, and performing meticulous tasks such as soldering pacemaker enclosures and wires, using small hand tools, documenting processes, and conducting visual inspections under a microscope. This position involves working on new product development, requiring a high-level operator experienced in completing full builds.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions and production drawings.

• Assemble IPG, pacemakers, and catheters in a clean room environment.

• Work under a microscope for intricate tasks.

• Use small hand tools for assembly operations.

• Conduct visual inspections and document findings.

• Perform trimming and soldering of parts.

• Collaborate directly with technicians on new product development.

• Complete final packaging of products.

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years of assembly and/or manufacturing experience in the medical device industry.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to read work orders and follow production drawings.

• Proficiency in documenting work in travelers, QMS systems, or ERP systems.

• Hand dexterity for working with very small pieces, requiring patience and diligence.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with soldering or welding preferred.

Work Environment

The company operates in a clean, state-of-the-art facility with a welcoming break room. The work environment is supportive, featuring events to foster camaraderie among employees. The position is available for 1st shift, Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm, with a 30-minute paid break, a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and a 15-minute paid break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
