You arrive as the sun sets, step into a clean, food-grade environment, and power up the automated systems that move grain-based ingredients from silos to bulk trailers. As a Grain Bulk Loading Technician at Didion, you’re the final checkpoint for safe, precise, and efficient loadouts that keep food supply chains running.

Across your 12-hour night shift, you’ll rotate between control panels and the yard—verifying orders, setting load parameters, monitoring weights, sampling when needed, and confirming seals. You’ll cross-train on multiple systems and pieces of equipment so you can flex where you’re needed most and keep operations flowing smoothly.

Schedule & pay

• Schedule: 6pm–6am, 4 days on / 4 days off
• Hourly pay: $22–$25 per hour
• Night shift premium: additional $3.00 per hour
• Night shift benefit: an extra 40 hours of Paid Time Off

What you’ll do

• Operate and learn automated loadout systems to meet order specs and quality standards.
• Coordinate safe, accurate bulk loading of grain-based food products.
• Work indoors and outdoors; climb to verify equipment and connections at height.
• Use computers for controls, data entry, and basic troubleshooting.
• Leverage cross-training to support multiple areas and equipment types.

What you bring

• Prior manufacturing experience; food industry background preferred.
• Ability to learn and run automated equipment confidently.
• Comfort working outside and at elevation.
• Forklift experience is a plus, not required.
• Proficiency using computers and on-screen interfaces.

Physical & environmental realities

• Lift up to 55 lbs.
• Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold.
• Climb stairs and ladders; work at heights exceeding 20'.
