Physical Therapist (Telehealth) – Georgia

Position Summary

As a PRN Telehealth Physical Therapist , you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled physical therapy services through a secure telehealth platform. You will collaborate closely with onsite therapy staff, nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform virtual physical therapy evaluations and reassessments
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions via telehealth
• Collaborate with onsite rehabilitation staff and nursing teams
• Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff
• Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning as needed
• Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and company documentation standards
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active, unrestricted Georgia Physical Therapist license
• Minimum one year of Physical Therapist experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable utilizing computers and telehealth technology
• Reliable high-speed internet and private workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
• Experience with Net Health documentation
• Previous telehealth experience
• Knowledge of Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, Medicaid, and Managed Care guidelines

Schedule

• PRN (As Needed)
• Flexible weekday scheduling
• Hours vary based on patient census and facility needs

Work Location

• Fully Remote
• Applicants must be licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Georgia
• Services are provided virtually to skilled nursing facilities located throughout Georgia
