Job Title: KS-Warehouse Associate-Hicksville-Industrial

Location: Hicksville, NY
Duration: 3 months ( Possibility for extension)
Pay Range: $22/hr (W2)

 

  Job Description

We are seeking a  Warehouse Associate (Warehouse Operator)to join our team in Hicksville. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, accurate receiving and storage, order picking, and shipment coordination to support timely and professional logistics services for our customer. The worksite name is  LOL .

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely and in an orderly manner.
• Receive and store incoming items per established systems and FIFO.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized storage areas.
• Load and reload trucks and stage orders accurately.
• Collaborate with quality control receiving, stock, and inventory teams.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Ensure accurate records of shipments and deliveries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification or ability to pass a forklift driving skills test.
• Knowledge of FIFO, cycle counting, and basic inventory practices.
• Basic math skills and ability to read spreadsheets.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a customer service environment.
• Fluency in reading and writing in English or Spanish due to onsite safety requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in high-volume warehouse or production environments.
• Prior experience with order picking and staging systems.

Schedule & Work Conditions:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Shift schedules could include weekends. Hours subject to business needs. 8 hours per day.
• Work may occur in hot or cold temperatures and in typical production noise.
• Steel-toe shoes required for the entire shift.

Equipment & Machinery:

• Forklift operation required.

Operation of other warehouse machinery as assigned
