About the Position

Job Title: RN ER Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 11.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (Mandatory) Must-Have: Ventilator experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking capabilities, good written and verbal communication skills Description: Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations. Prioritize and immediately decide upon and take proper action in crisis scenarios. Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not present. Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment. Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician, including medications and IV therapy. Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures, and the status of coordinated activities. Document specific healthcare requirements for patients and prepare written assignments for team members. Plan and develop care delivery, implement the care plan, and coordinate documentation. Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and ensuring the general upkeep of the unit. Preserve a safe environment for both patients and staff. Be prepared to float to other units as needed. Work every other weekend and holidays. Scrubs must be red in color.
