California Golf Course in Cincinnati, Ohio, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal part-time Food & Beverage Attendant. Pay: $6.00 per hour plus tips and gratuity

Job Overview

The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while ensuring food and beverage offerings are presented and served efficiently, accurately, and professionally. This role supports daily food and beverage operations by assisting guests, preparing service areas, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and delivering a positive dining experience. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes the specials of the day to guests, answers questions regarding menu items, and offers suggestions when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food promptly after preparation.
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties.
• Accounts for checks and cash transactions and utilizes the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Adheres to standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Incorporates safe work practices into job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of serving experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must meet state age requirements for handling alcohol.
• Food safety knowledge.
• Food preparation experience.
• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
