Job Summary

Working as a Senior Director of Dining Services (Sr. DDS) , you will oversee a dynamic food service operation located within Kite Pharmaceuticals. This café concept serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week to approximately 600 client employees.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the client, lead and develop the on-site team, and manage all aspects of the operation. You will provide strategic direction to achieve operational excellence and financial performance goals while ensuring compliance with all food safety, regulatory, and company standards. This position requires a strong focus on building client relationships, driving team engagement, and delivering high-quality dining experiences in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse on-site team (Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and 12 hourly associates) to deliver exceptional service to clients and guests
• Drive team performance and engagement while building strong client relationships and achieving key performance indicators (profitability, safety, satisfaction, etc.)
• Oversee daily café operations across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, ensuring consistency and quality
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
• Act as the primary client liaison and brand ambassador within Kite Pharmaceuticals, attending meetings and supporting client initiatives
• Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded to support account retention and identify opportunities for growth
• Support operational areas including culinary execution, safety, sanitation, catering services, as well as pantry oversight
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and company policies, conducting audits as needed (food safety, sanitation, storage, etc.)
• Own financial performance of the account, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Lead hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning for the team
• Evaluate operational decisions with consideration for both short- and long-term impact while mitigating risk

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of management experience in foodservice, hospitality, or support services
• Proven success leading a business and managing teams in a corporate dining or similar environment
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, cost controls, and revenue targets
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
• High level of professionalism, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
