Respiratory Therapist | Libertyville, IL
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Libertyville, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a full lifespan of patients, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services in a Level 1 Trauma Center with a variety of patient types, including neonates and geriatric patients.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Center
- Weekly Pay: Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2484 (negotiable)
- Location: Libertyville, IL
- Shift Details: 3x12 hour shifts, days
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Charting System: EPIC
- Orientation: 1 day on the unit
- Free Parking Available
Responsibilities
- Perform tracheostomy care and nitrous oxide procedures
- Practice proning techniques and critical care experience
- Manage ventilator associated pneumonia prevention
- Conduct spontaneous breathing trials and arterial blood gas draws
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years' experience with full lifespan of patients
- Active IL license
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Experience with charting system EPIC
- Skills in Trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, ECMO, critical care
