RN - NICU

Registered Nurse - Level IV NICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour shifts, Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30.

The registered nurse will be working in a Level IV NICU that treats high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions in neonates. The unit typically has a high volume of intubated and acute infants.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for a diverse patient population including those with Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, and Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as Servo Ventilators, Nitric Oxide, and Moog Feeding Pumps.
• Participate in interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.
• Monitor patient health, administer medications, and perform necessary medical interventions as required.
• Assist in the care and management of neonates with various health complications and conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a Level IV NICU.
• BLS certification is required.
• OH or Compact RN License is required.
• Experience with ventilators and trach care is mandatory.
• Pediatric care experience is preferred.
• Must be able to provide references from a supervisor within the last 2 years.
