Job Responsibilities
- Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs closely and craft customized therapy strategies aimed at helping them reach their specific functional benchmarks.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and engagement in daily tasks.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in unison with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centric care.
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families essential therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing improvement in the home environment.
- Track and Evaluate Progress: Provide robust monitoring of patient outcomes and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal progress.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Continuous learning and post-graduate certification encouragement and support
- Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
- A deep-seated passion for helping others attain their utmost level of independence
