The Audit Manager will play a key role in leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and mentoring staff. This position is primarily onsite with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule and includes travel—primarily local—for client engagements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing audit engagements from planning through completion
• Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with applicable standards
• Supervising, mentoring, and developing audit staff and seniors
• Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships
• Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing issues with clients and leadership
• Assisting with workflow management and scheduling of engagements
• Providing support on tax engagements during peak seasons as needed

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA required
• Strong experience in audit and assurance services
• Preferred industry experience: government, non-profit, telecommunications, and school audits
• Exposure to tax preparation/support is a plus
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
