Location: Northern Kansas / Southern Nebraska

At PIPESTONE Veterinary Services , we're passionate about supporting independent family farms that help feed the world. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Veterinary Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced swine health team.

What You'll Do

• Partner with veterinarians to identify disease challenges through sample collection and on-farm assessments
• Build strong relationships with pig farmers and become a trusted advisor for their operations
• Develop and promote proactive herd health programs
• Lead producer education initiatives, including:
  • PQA+ Certification
  • Site Assessments
  • Secure Pork Plans
  • Additional producer training programs

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of livestock industry experience
• Required: Previous swine industry experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset

Work Environment

• Agricultural swine facilities in rural communities
• Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Some overnight travel required
• Hearing protection needed in certain areas

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling

• Ability to occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to travel as needed
