Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing specialized electrophysiology procedures in the Cath Lab/EP setting, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy. The EP Tech collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care during complex cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies necessary for EP procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and safety throughout the procedure.
  
  
• 
  Follow sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document procedural details accurately in patient records.
  
  
• 
  Float to related units as needed, adapting to facility requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 1 year of EP Lab or cath lab experience.
  
  
• 
  Valid RN license or Allied license, depending on role submission.
  
  
• 
  Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  
  
• 
  Strong understanding of electrophysiology procedures and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to follow safety and compliance standards.
