Job Description – RN (Registered Nurse), ICU (Surgical ICU / Medical ICU)
Shift: Nights 
Start Date: 12/07/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Trauma Level: 1
Charting System: Cerner

• 32 beds; Ratios: 1:2, 1:1
• Level 1 trauma center: falls, GSW, blunt trauma, MVAs (patients 15+), ex-lap, crani, specialty neuro-surgery, CVA, post-TPA, COVID, sepsis, ARDS
• Titratable drips: Propofol, fentanyl, versed, precedex, morphine, dilaudid, ketamine, rocuronium, levophed, vasopressin, cardene, labetalol, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin, insulin
• Charge Nurse present, does not take patients
• No nurse aides (used only for sitters/Health Unit Secretary)

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent ICU experience required — no exceptions (must include either Neuro or CV experience)
• Active RN license required

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS Certification
• NIHSS
