Director, Field Effectiveness, Rare Disease and Oncology

Director role leading field effectiveness initiatives for rare disease and oncology at Amgen. Oversees team driving commercial success through field performance optimization, program management, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote-flexible position.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee field effectiveness programs and initiatives for rare disease and oncology
- Lead team development with mentorship, coaching, and organizational design accountability
- Monitor field performance metrics; identify issues and recommend solutions
- Lead special initiatives including sales force structure and launch readiness projects
- Collaborate with global commercial capabilities organization on process alignment and delivery
Requirements
- Doctorate degree plus 4 years sales analytics/field effectiveness experience
- OR Master's degree plus 8 years sales analytics/field effectiveness experience
- OR Bachelor's degree plus 10 years sales analytics/field effectiveness experience
- Minimum 4 years managing teams or leading programs/projects
- Strategic and critical thinking with strong analytical capabilities
- Project management and cross-functional leadership experience
- Clear communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
