Job Description

This role involves performing high-quality production welding in a manufacturing environment, working with various metal components and configurations. You will operate welding equipment and overhead cranes safely, read and interpret blueprints, and assemble and weld metal parts with precision. The position requires flexibility to work in different areas of production based on demand and to collaborate effectively with both teams and work independently as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Shift: 2nd shift 4-10's schedule Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am

Pay: $22.75-$26.40/hour

Responsibilities

• Pass a weld test and meet all welding requirements prior to and during employment.
• Operate overhead cranes safely and in accordance with established procedures.
• Adjust weld configurations as needed to meet production and quality specifications.
• Heat and form metal parts and components using hand tools, torches, or welding equipment.
• Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions as required by the job.
• Accurately operate and read measuring devices, including tape measures, to ensure proper dimensions and fit.
• Assemble and weld various metal parts together according to blueprints and work instructions.

Essential Skills

• Ability to pass a weld test and meet all welding requirements.
• Experience with MIG welding; at least 6 months of MIG production welding experience through education or work.
• Ability to weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greencastle, PA.

The pay range for this position is $47320.00 - $54912.00/yr.

Sign On Bonus: Eligible for FULL TIME employees (Contractors would be eligible upon conversion) $1,500 Total $500 @ 3 months of employment $500 @ 6 months of employment $500 @ 12 months of employment

This is a fully onsite position in Greencastle,PA.
