Housekeeping HousepersonThe Housekeeping Houseperson at American Airlines – The Landing at Skyview 6 is responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned areas, including room attendant carts, storage rooms, and public areas in addition to maintaining inventory of housekeeping supplies.Responsibilities:Assist room attendants with stripping beds and removing used linen and towels.Deliver soiled linens to laundry chute for cleaning.Deliver fresh towels and linens to room attendants for guest rooms.Deliver additional supplies to room attendants as needed and as necessary.Effectively communicate with room attendants to ensure efficient and timely cleaning of guest rooms.Vacuum hallways of guest room floors.Participate in general cleaning with tasks such as turning mattresses and removing sheers and drapes.Ensure that all equipment is distributed and maintained in proper operating order.Ensure that all linen closets are stocked.Ensure delivery of guest request items to guest rooms.Ensure that trash is collected and disposed of properly.Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons).
