More about our team * 12‑bed Medical/Surgical & Post‑Op unit * Nurse‑to‑patient ratio: 1:5-6 * Patient population includes post‑op spine, orthopedic, ENT, abdominal, thoracic, vascular, and urology cases, along with general medical patients * Close‑knit, collaborative environment with strong nurse‑physician teamwork * Growing department with future expansion plans as surgical services continue to expand How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: * Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. * Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family. * Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs. * Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances. * Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. * Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
