The role requires strong expertise in Java, Microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures, with hands-on experience deploying solutions on Azure.The candidate will collaborate with senior engineers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance services, while following cloud-native and DevOps best practices.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring BootBuild and support microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIsImplement event-driven solutions using Kafka or Azure Event HubsParticipate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practicesContribute to refactoring, performance tuning, and system improvementsCollaborate with QA and DevOps teams to integrate services into CI/CD pipelinesTroubleshoot defects and performance issues across environmentsParticipate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremoniesSkills & Proficiency Requirements:Java Programming:Strong understanding of OOP principles and SOLID design patternsHands-on experience with Java 8+ features (Lambdas, Streams)Expertise in building REST APIsExperience with dependency injection, configuration management, and Spring BootMicroservices Architecture:Hands-on experience designing and building microservicesKnowledge of architectural patterns such as Circuit Breaker, Saga, etc.
