TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Home Health RN in Detroit, Michigan, 48202!

Job Title: Home Health Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Home Health Duration: 17-week contract Shift: 8 AM to 4:30 PM Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Home Health RN experience License: Current RN licensure Certifications: BLS certification, valid driver's license Must-Have: Reliable transportation Description: Under general supervision of the nursing supervisor, utilizes the knowledge and application of nursing principles to provide direct patient care in the home. Assesses need for other allied health care services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, speech pathology, and social work to ensure an integrated home health care delivery system. Performs other related duties as required. Candidates will support the Home Health department with the patient load in the assigned counties. They should anticipate a case load of approximately 6 patient visits per day with an average of 40-60 miles driven per day. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of nine months of clinical nursing experience. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required to interact effectively with individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Must be able to lift, carry, transport, and move clients if needed. Preferred Skills & Experience: Acute care experience preferred. Required Education: Successful completion of a registered nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing. Preferred Education: N/A Required Certification & Licensure: Current licensure as a registered nurse. BLS certification. Must possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Must have reliable transportation and a telephone. Preferred Certification & Licensure: N/A
