Job Summary: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist administers general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care. Performs anesthesia-related procedures under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment and medication
• Requesting laboratory/diagnostic studies
• Administering general anesthesia including but limited to general anesthesia, epidural, caudal, upper and lower extremities and nerve blocks.
• Excellent understanding and skills with sedation techniques
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation management
• Invasive and noninvasive monitoring
• Provides post-anesthesia care/discharge

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer as required by the state of Indiana.

Mandatory Licensure/Certifications:

• Must hold current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Indiana.
• Must comply with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements
