Investment Associate/VP, Special Situations

Alternative asset manager seeking an Associate/VP to evaluate opportunistic and special situations investments across credit, structured products, specialty finance, and equity. Job Description: Evaluate investment opportunities across corporate credit, specialty finance, structured credit, and equity. Build financial models, valuation analyses, and downside scenarios. Analyze complex capital structures, transaction terms, and legal documentation. Conduct company, industry, and asset-level due diligence. Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior investment professionals. Monitor portfolio investments and identify new investment opportunities. Requirements / Qualifications: 2-8+ years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, private credit, special situations, distressed investing, or hedge funds. Strong financial modeling and credit underwriting skills. Experience evaluating both debt and equity investments preferred.
