Home Health Aide
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide in-home care and support to our clients in Wayne, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting their independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and ensure clients' safety within their home environment
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Assist with medication reminders as directed
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar care-giving role is an asset
- Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
- Must pass background checks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus
